Role and Contribution

Development and implementation of new MR imaging sequences for cell detection on clinical scanners. The methods are based on fast imaging techniques and are used for both positive and negative contrast.

Klaus Scheffler
PhD. He received his Master in Theoretical Physics in 1992, and his PhD in biophysical Chemistry at the Biocenter at the University of Basel in 1995. He is currently director of the division of Radiological Physics at the University Hospital Basel. Main research focus is methodological development in the field of MR imaging.
