Role and Contribution

Development and implementation of new MR imaging sequences for cell detection on clinical scanners. The methods are based on fast imaging techniques and are used for both positive and negative contrast.

Xeni Deligianni
MSc. Xeni graduated from the faculty of Electrical and Computer's Engineering of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece with specialization in Telecommunications. In 2009, she received the Master degree in Biomedical Imaging Sciences of Utrecht University, the Netherlands. During this study, she performed her Master thesis in the Laboratory for Molecular and Functional Imaging, University Bordeaux 2, Bordeaux, France. Since October 2009 she is a PhD Candidate in University Hospital Basel with main focus on Interventional MRI. Role and contribution within the project: Development of new MRI sequences for the assessment of the technical success of transplantation of pancreatic islets (PI) to the liver of diabetic patients.
