Role and Contribution

In ENCITE, EIBIR will act as a coordinator of the project. EIBIR will also lead and coordinate the Dissemination and Training activities, in conjunction with its member organisations. It is responsible for all aspects of the interface between the project and the EC. EIBIR has appointed an ENCITE Coordinator (Gabriel P. Krestin) who will be the focal point for the overall coordination of the project as wells as for administrative and financial content.

Gabriel P. Krestin

Chairman of the Department of Radiology at University Hospital Rotterdam, has in his function as Chairman of the EAR Research Committee initiated and co-ordinated the creation and establishment of EIBIR. As current Chairman of the newly established Research Committee of the European Society of Radiology (ESR), he represents the ESR in the General Meeting and activities of EIBIR.
